From The Restory - Conversations On The Journey (223)

Meaningful Rest? The Conversation Elements From The Conversation A good yardstick for a period of rest:  Creative Piece If we look at Danish painter Carl Vilhelm Holsøe's (1863-1935) 'Interior, Light of Spring', a woman sits, alone with the light. She has no list. She is not busy balancing the finances, or doing anything "useful", even though the book is on the table. She just sits. Not someone who is wasting time, but someone who is busy resting in her own humanity. Perhaps our winter here on Tafelkop is our own Holsøe interior, where the greatest challenge is to learn that our value does not lie in the book on the table, but in the light that falls on us through the window. Music As always, with love and the longing that you are doing well. George & Matilda

Sinvol Rus? George & Matilda

Start With Meaning The Conversation Elements From The Conversation Music Actually, it is always about choices. And sometimes, when we take our one precious life seriously, we are honest about the things that we have chosen that don't make us happy, that fail to speak to our quiet centre.. Things that we mostly can change. Or, if we can't change that, we can. As George Ezra sings: "Give me one good reason why I should never make a change." As always we share this with much love. George & Matilda

Begin By Betekenis Die Gesprek Elemente Uit Die Gesprek Musiek Eintlik gaan dit die heeltyd oor keuses. Soos George Ezra sing: "Give me one good reason why I should never make a change." George & Matilda

Concerning all acts of initiative and creation, there is one elementary truth the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one's favour all manner of unforeseen incidents, meetings and material assistance which no man could have dreamed would have come his way.
