We want to do it because we want to save our fucking country.” Rassie Erasmus                 ~ ❖ ~ ~ ❖ ~ Our boys have proven to everyone why they are world champs & even deserve to retain the trophy...   ...from beating the hosts, who were the 2nd best team in the world, to almost beating Ireland, which was the best team in the world...   ...to beating a spirited England, while playing their worst game of the tournament. Those are true champions.   But, I want to raise this:   It is unfair of us ordinary South Africans to keep demanding the Springboks to give us hope through their victories, when we don't meet them halfway.   After they've won the world cup, and the hype has died down, how will you show that you've learnt from them in your own lif...

Interflow

Photos by George Angus    Welsh poet John O'Donohue spoke of the earthern wisdom possessed by the animals we share this earth with.  “The animals are more ancient than us. They enjoy a seamless presence—a lyrical unity with the earth. Animals live outside in the wind, in the waters, in the mountains, and in the clay. The knowing of the earth is in them.”  When we become more sensitive and attuned to them, through presence, awareness, listening and looking, by deflating our self-importance, we enter into their state of knowing. O'Donohue referred to this state of shared awareness and being as “interflow” . What I do know is that we are mostly missing out through the lives we live. George
