Music

A master of silence in his compositions and music is the Italian composer and pianist, Ludovico Einaudi. He knows that those rests and silences are just as important to the melody as are the notes.

In this piece, he is playing a song of mourning for the plight of the Arctic, while huge pieces of ice are breaking off, plunging into the sea in the background. Everything in this piece of music bears the characteristics of listening.

A house renovated and painted with a new bathroom, the arrival of spring and rain, retreats, the CMR's knitting marathon, presenting and finishing the Refresher course in spiritual guidance, attending our granddaughter Ariana's graduation before she goes to big school next year.
